SH. R.S. GOSWAMI ( MEMBER ) Bar Council of Delhi
Shri R.S Goswami ji was enrolled on 19.03.1987 with Bar Council of Delhi and is still in active practice at Delhi High Court. He is a practicing lawyer of Criminal and has a specialization in matrimonial cases. He was elected as the Member of Bar Council of Delhi in 2003, and was appointed as the Hony. Secretary of Bar Council of Delhi from 2006-2008. He got elected as Chairman, Bar Council of Delhi in 2012 and in 2013 and during his tenure he organized a function at Vigyan Bhawan for the welfare of an Advocates which was attended by the Hon’ble president of India, Chief Minister of Delhi, Supreme Court Judges and various High Court Judges. He has been the member of Strategic Action Committee for the Lok Sabha Elections in 2014 and is still an active member of Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) legal cell. Moreover, in 2018 Mr. Goswami Ji got elected as a chairman of the enrolment committee for the tenure 2018-2020. In his tenure, he brought drastic changes in the working system of BCD and worked tirelessly for the welfare of the bar which resulted in his unopposed re-election as the chairman of Bar Council of Delhi. Mr. Goswami has now been appointed as the Chairman of Enrolment committee and Indigent Disabled Committee of Bar council of Delhi in December 2022. Mr. Goswami has won various honours and awards from numerous law colleges, media groups and non-government bodies. He is also regularly invited in panel debates on various legal and social issues on national news channels. He is a prolific orator and has dedicated his life for the legal causes and is always available to each advocate for any problem what so ever. He is rightly regarded as a judicious solution maker for every problem among legal arena and is an asset to legal fraternity.
