SH. RAKESH SHERAWAT ( MEMBER ) Bar Council of Delhi
Sh. Rakesh Sherawat is enrolled as an Advocate with the Bar Council of Delhi in the year 1990. Shri Rakesh Sherawat, for the first time, contested the elections of Bar Council of Delhi in 2006. Thereafter, in 2009 also he was elected as a member of BCD and again in 2018 also he was elected as member of Bar Council of Delhi and this is his third successive term being elected as a member Bar Council of Delhi. He was also elected as Hony. Secretary of Bar Council of Delhi and held the post of Hony. Secretary from August 2008 to July, 2009. He was also elected as Vice-Chairman of Bar Council of Delhi earlier and held the post of Vice-Chairman from March 2013 to July 2014. In the present term, he was elected as Chairman of Bar Council of Delhi and held the post of Chairman from September 2021 to May 2022. He has been elected as member of the prominent Enrolment Committee of Bar Council of Delhi in 2006, 2012 and presently also, he is a Member of the Enrolment Committee. He has also been member of various other Committees of Bar Council of Delhi including Disciplinary Committees, Executive Committee and Indigent & Disabled Lawyers Committee etc. He is also a member of Delhi High Court Bar Association, Saket Courts Bar Associations and New Delhi Bar Association. He is diligent, always available, ready and willing to help advocate colleagues who approach him on the issues they face and try to help them out to the best of his ability. He is a renowned lawyer practicing in Supreme Court, Delhi High Court, District Courts and Tribunals since 1990. He is practicing law in all the fields’ and is a popular figure in the legal circle of Delhi.
